For the people and by the people, Desirée Toliver's campaign for US Congress (WA-10) offers a clean break from the status quo.

She stands for national investments in housing, healthcare and education for all, local food networks, a living wage and ending our addiction to fossil fuels. She demands a wealth tax so fortunate Americans (like the billionaires that doubled their riches in the pandemic) pay their fair share to replenish the society that gave them opportuntity. Desirée will end corporate welfare for endless wars, militarized policing and inhumane conditions at our borders. Global democracy must be grounded in international institutions that prioritize diplomacy, cooperation, peace, universal human rights and respect for the rule of law. 

In Palestine and Gaza she demands an end to hostilites, the return of all prisoners, immediate access to humanitarian aid and no military support for Israel while apartheid conditions exist. She supports self-determination by the Palestinian people, equality for all people living in historic Palestine and the right of Palestinians to return to their homes.
